Professional Profile
Peter Kaufmann has been working in the Winnipeg commercial real estate industry for the past eighteen years. His work is primarily focused on the sales and leasing of industrial, office and vacant land properties throughout the Manitoba marketplace. Peter also provides his clients with Opinions of Value for their properties and advises on a variety of other property and business matters.
Before working in commercial real estate, Peter spent ten years in sales with Silverwood Dairies and Johnson & Johnson before owning and operating Kaufmann Foods for twenty years. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts and has further completed courses in Accounting, Marketing, and Sales.
Peter has been heavily involved in the community and has served on the boards of The Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers, the Winnipeg Convention Center, and the Pension Board for the City of Winnipeg. Peter also served as a City Councilor for the City of Winnipeg and ran for mayor in both 1995 and 1998 coming a close 2nd on both occasions.
