Derrick Chartier has nearly thirty years of commercial real estate sales and leasing experience throughout Canada. He began his career with Chartier & Associates Inc. in 1987, and when the firm became affiliated with CBRE Limited, from 2002 to July 2015, he was President of the CBRE Winnipeg office. Derrick is a founder and Principal of Capital Commercial Real Estate Services Inc.
Derrick has an extensive commercial real estate background, specializing in sales/leasing, development, investment sales, and consulting - for public, private and government agencies. He has represented a number of retailers, owners and landlords, and completed transactions across Canada. Derrick has extensive experience working with Purchase and Sale/Lease Agreements pertaining to commercial real estate.
Derrick is the National Broker for Cabela’s in Canada and has been involved in all of their real estate transactions coast to coast. To date, he has completed multiple transactions in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.
Derrick was instrumental in negotiating the deal which brought IKEA to Winnipeg and is involved in the leasing of the balance of the 80-acre site known as Seasons of Tuxedo.
